About Quillmark

Built by a longtime product and engineering operator focused on grounded-content AI.

Why Quillmark Exists

Quillmark is built on a simple belief: AI is most valuable when it acts on grounded content. The hardest content problems are usually not the ones that need more generic generation. They are the ones that need better grounding in real source material, real constraints, and real downstream consequences.

Financial services was the first obvious wedge. Compliance Flag turns that thesis into a product for SEC-registered RIAs by reviewing already-live marketing content against enforceable rule text. Quillmark is the company behind that product and the foundation for future products built on the same grounded-content approach.

AI works best when it stays attached to the real text, rules, and context that actually govern the work.

The Founder

Matthew Ketter

Founder

Matthew Ketter is a product leader, software engineer, and AI technologist with more than 25 years building digital products, internet businesses, and technical systems. He spent 14 years at Churchill Downs / TwinSpires, first as a software engineer and later in product leadership roles, working on regulated workflows that touched payments, KYC/AML, partner integrations, analytics, content platforms, internal tools, and mobile initiatives.

Earlier in his career, he co-founded internet businesses in ecommerce, search technology, and web infrastructure. Quillmark grew out of that combined background in engineering, product, and entrepreneurship, along with a simple belief: high-stakes workflow problems are rarely solved by generic software. They require systems grounded in the real rules, context, and source material of the work itself. Compliance Flag is the first product built from that idea.
